About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who is highly proficient in n8n and has at least two years of hands-on experience building automation workflows. You will work with a variety of Australian clients, collaborating closely with an Account Manager to design, develop, and implement AI and automation solutions that drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI and automation workflows using n8n.
  
• Work closely with clients to understand their internal processes and translate them into automation solutions.
  
• Integrate various tools, APIs, and third-party applications into automation workflows.
  
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing automation processes.
  
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless client communication and project execution.
  
• Document processes and workflows for internal and client use.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in n8n and workflow automation.
  
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
  
• Familiar with working with APIs from platforms such as HubSpot, Xero, Outlook, Gmail, and Airtable.
  
• Experience working with tools such as OpenAI, Vapi, Cal.com, PostgresSQL, and other automation-related third-party services.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in a client-facing role.
  
• Ability to work remotely with Australian-based clients and team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered automation tools and chatbot integrations.
  
• Familiarity with HR tech, finance automation, or sales workflow automation.
  
• Proficiency in Miro for creating workflow drafts.
  
• Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced consulting environment.
